Its only 176g. Obviously, to get it down to that weight, for a 350mm post no less, you need carbon-fiber. Specifically, uni-directional carbon-fiber. The entire length, up to the cradle holding the saddle clamp is carbon. Because of the carbon-fiber construction, they had to modify their seat clamp design. Its a two-bolt securing mechanism, but the forward bolt has a thumbscrew at the top, and you adjust it by hand—it threads into a cylinder that has been slid into the post--before securing the rear bolt from underneath. The RS Superleggero comes in two lengths, 350 and 400mm. It comes in two diameters, 27.2 and 31.6mm. The setback is 12mm. There are two finishes, polish on Black and Black. The 400mm length is in Black only. As with other Deda posts, if you want to run your Di2 internal battery in the post, you can purchase a Deda adapter that secures the battery to the post.
